Description: Embark on a
magnificent journey to view the spectacular glacial landscape of the
Stikine Icefield. These features are so remote, the experience will leave
vivid memories and impressions for a lifetime.
You'll be enveloped in a
sea of peaks as you begin your journey above the waterways and remote
forests of Southeast Alaska. During your descent, you'll discover deep
crevasses and towering ice spires located on one of Petersburg's most
spectacular valley glaciers, the Patterson Glacier.
Your pilot will be
your guide as you experience this unique and fascinating landscape. The
Patterson Glacier helicopter Tour is not only an incredible adventure, it
is truly a dream come true.
Duration: Approximately one hour,
includes flight time and a glacier landing. Please allow additional time
for transportation and a helicopter safety briefing.

 Note: These tours are conducted under the helicopter Tour Operators Program of Safety (TOPS). These are the best management practices for making your safety the top priority. (Flight routes and landing sites may vary due to weather and glacier conditions.)

flightseeing/wildlife viewing practices adopted by the Alaska Visitor’s Association. These guidelines were established to be sensitive to, and insure the continued viability of area wildlife
species.
Due to weight and balance limitations, and passenger safety and comfort, we may charge an additional rate to reserve extra space onboard the helicopter for passengers that are above a certain weight.
